New York, NY – June 6 2014 – On Thursday, June 19th, Rachel Brown will perform two shows at Chef Marcus Samuelsson’s acclaimed Ginny’s Supper Club at 8:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. Tickets cost $15.00 and are available by visiting here for the 8:00 p.m. show or here for the 10:00 p.m. show. Brown, the self-taught singer-songwriter born and raised in New York City with Ethiopian and Bermudian roots, plays with a band of international musicians. The result is an electrifying sound that fuses pop, soul, and hip-hop with West African and Caribbean beats. Brown’s unique voice combines sweetness, sultriness and vulnerability, enchanting the listener. The recent Harvard graduate is a regular performer on the NYC nightlife scene where her audiences have included Leonardo DiCaprio, Jay-Z, and Beyonce, and has opened for numerous acts, including Mary J. Blige, Wyclef Jean, Robin Thicke, and John Legend.
