Voices of the Holocaust

On April 18 (International Day of Holocaust Remembrance) Gloria Musicae, under the direction of Joseph Holt,  will have the Florida premiere of “Voices of the Holocaust” – a cantata composed by Sheridan Seyfried based on songs sung in ghettos and concentration camps in World War II.
     Performers collaborating include: Sarasota Young Voices, Sarasota Jewish Chorale, Booker High School Music program, Sarasota Choral Society, the Chroma Quartet and the Sarasota Manatee Dance Alliance. April 28 at 7:30 p.m.. at the Van Wezel. Tickets: 953-3368 or visit www.gloriamusicae.org.
