THE 2ND ANNUAL “FIGHT 4 FITNESS” 5K RACE, 2K WALK, KIDS FUN RUN,
& COMMUNITY DAY – Sunday, April 17 in Sunset Park
LAS VEGAS (April 15, 2016) The Floyd Mayweather Jr. Foundation (TFMJF) is proud to present a full weekend of fitness and fun with its 2nd Annual Fight 4 Fitness 5K Race, 2K Walk, Kids Fun Run and Community Day taking place Sunday, April 17 at Sunset Park and a special presentation by the Urban Fitness League tomorrow, April 16. The presenting sponsors are Mayweather Promotions, The Money Team and TAKAT Jewels and its supporting sponsor is SHOWTIME.
“The mission of the Urban Fitness League is to promote fit and healthy life through calisthenics and proper diet for everyone. The Urban Fitness League is partnering with the athletes to bring the urban fitness lifestyle to youth across our cities and playgrounds,” said Ben Sturner Founder of the UFL. “The UFL, our athletes and leadership are all 100% committed to combatting the inactivity pandemic and obesity by making fitness cool with our events, athlete personalities and no barriers to entry.”

SATURDAY, April 16 – Urban League Calisthenics Demonstration & Championship Competition
Mayweather Promotions stars Badou Jack and Andrew Tabiti will be on hand and will participate in a photo-op with the winners of the competitions. Three competitions will feature competitions in the lightweight, middleweight and heavyweight divisions.
A second competition featuring “Freestyle” and “Best Trick” events will follow with the crowd and celebrity judges selecting the winners. Finally, the athletes will host a Q&A and autograph session with kids in attendance.

SUNDAY, April 17 – 5K Race, 2K Walk & Kids Fun Run
The 5K Race, 2K Walk, and Kids Fun Run (one half mile run for kids 12 and under) starts at 8 a.m. and is followed by an awards ceremony honoring all of the participants.
The Community Day event immediately following the awards ceremony will include food, music, games, raffled prizes, special live performances from 11-year-old singer-songwriter Sunny Malouf, Dance Connection and NBT Future Dance, plus free Zumba sessions from Zumba Las Vegas.

- 8:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. – 5K Race, 2K Walk, KIDS scavenger hunt

Clark County School District: A portion of the proceeds will be donated to Clark County School District. The funds will be divided among designated CCSD schools that have demonstrated need for support in the following areas: athletic programs, physical education and educational field trips.
