First-ever guide to Craft Breweries along Florida’s Gulf Coast Released

The Gulf Toast” provides information on local breweries, wineries

and spirits in a five-county region

SARASOTA, Fla. (November 3, 2015) – The ever-popular craft beer movement inspired five destinations across Florida’s Gulf Coast to partner on the first-ever “The Gulf Toast” guide to craft breweries, spirits and wine. The Destination Management Organizations (DMO’s) in Charlotte, Collier, Lee, Manatee and Sarasota Counties partnered on the guide to be released on November 6, 2015.

The easy-to-use guide is simple to read with color-coded information providing the availability of craft breweries, spirits and wineries in the five-county region. A map pinpoints the location of the stops and detailed descriptions, logos and websites are included to encourage more discovery about what each brewery or winery has to offer.

“The Presidents of the other local DMO’s and I have been looking for the perfect opportunity to collaborate on a project of this nature,” said Virginia Haley, President, Visit Sarasota County. “The craft beer trend was an easy one to collaborate on since we all have several new ones in our communities. By showcasing them all on one map, we are able to make a bigger statement about what Florida’s Gulf Coast has to offer.”

The Observer Media Group designed the guide and will distribute it in the November 6, 2015 edition of The Business Observer.
