Venice Theatre announces auditions for upcoming Generations show

Seeking actors of all ages for The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe
|
Venice, FL, June 3, 2016 – Auditions for Venice Theatre’s “Generations” production of The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe will be held Saturday June 25 and Sunday June 26 at 2 p.m. at Venice Theatre located at 140 W. Tampa Ave. in Venice.
The play is dramatized by Joseph Robinett and based on C.S. Lewis’ classic story with all the magic and mystery of Aslan, the great lion, his struggle with the White Witch, and the adventures of four children who inadvertently wander from an old wardrobe into the exciting, unforgettable land of Narnia.
Director Sandy Davisson is casting for approximately 18 – 20 children and adults of all ages. Auditioners will be asked to do a cold reading from the script and a movement exercise.
The play will be performed on Venice Theatre’s Pinkerton stage Sept. 8 through Sept. 18, 2016 including a school-time performance on Friday, Sept. 16, 2016 at 11 a.m. The following roles are available:
