DIRECTORS SEEK PERFORMERS FOR musical version of A Christmas Carol AND comedy NOISES OFF
(Venice, FL) Director Murray Chase, Musical Director Michelle Kasanofsky, and Choreographer Allison Pickens are seeking performers of all ages to audition for Venice Theatre’s annual production of A Christmas Carol. Auditions take place Saturday, Oct. 24 and Sunday, Oct. 25 at 2 p.m. Performances of A Christmas Carol are in the MainStage auditorium Dec. 17-21, 2015. The schedule includes a week-day performance for schools on Dec. 18, 2015 at 11 a.m.
Auditioners are asked to prepare a song, bring sheet music for the accompanist, and dress comfortably for the dance portion of the audition. They should also be prepared to read from the script.
Director James Alexander Bond is holding auditions on Sunday, Nov. 1 at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, Nov. 8 at 7 p.m. for the upcoming MainStage farce, Noises Off. He is casting five male and four female roles ranging from early 20s to seniors. Performances of Noises Off will run Jan. 12 – 31, 2016. Actors should have strong physical comedy skills and will be asked to read from the script.
