Canadian duo ADVENTURE CLUB, composed of Christian Srigley and Leighton James rounded out the end of 2013 in a big way with the release of their debut EP CALLING ALL HEROES on BMG. An elegantly crafted soundscape featuring four-songs with transforming bass and whirling synths, the EP includes “Gold” featuring Yuna, “Wonder” which has the pair teaming up with Australian producer The Kite String Tangle, “Crash” and “Thunderclap.” Look for the pair to perform material from the EP as well as their debut album to be released later this year during their sets at Ultra and Space.

Leading into the 2014 festival season, British electronic music producer GARETH EMERY—who makes several appearances in Miami over MMW including a private event at the Cavali Club, slots at Chuckie and Nervo’s pool parties and  Ultra Music Festival—will release his new album DRIVE on April 1 via his label Garuda.   DRIVE’s first single is “U” is a beautifully crafted love song with ethereal vocals and euphoric synths combined to create a potent piece of music. Electronic music icon PAUL VAN DYK (PvD) returns to Miami for four major appearances during Miami Music Week: Thursday’s VANDIT Allstar’s night at Dream hosted by PvD features Alex M.O.R.P.H. b2b-ing with regular compadre Woody van Eyden, as well as spin-masters Las Salinas, Maarten de Jong, Tristan D, Ben Nicky, David Forbes, Judge Jules, Kaeno and Chris Becker.
