We’ve had our Education issues in August & January for a long time. I got the idea to add Lifelong Learning and thus we have both in our current August issue.
Our area has lots of great post-secondary schools and many have programs specially designed for working professionals or those wanting to earn another degree to advance their careers.

What is so amazing is that we have so many people here going back to “school” to have FUN.  That means Pierian Spring, Longboat Education Center, ACE (part of

Janna Overstreet

SCTI) SILL (Sarasota Institute of Lifelong Learning) and Lifelong Learning Academy (LLA).
So it comes as no surprise we have Janna Overstreet on our cover. She’s the Executive Director at LLA. Janna is marking her first anniversary at LLA and she’s made lots of exciting changes which you can find out about by reading her profile click here or find in the WCW print edition.
And I haven’t even mentioned all the wonderful places offering acting or art classes, lectures and various presentations. For that, you’ll have to read WCW as we go in to the busy season. Our next Education & Lifelong Learning Issue will be January 2015…
