AT THE 15Th ANNUAL GOLDEN TRAILER AWARDS

(Beverly Hills, May 30, 2014) — Hollywood celebrated the best in motion picture marketing at the 15th Annual Golden Trailer Awards tonight in Beverly Hills. More than 1,100 studio marketing executives, movie fans, celebrities and trailer editors were on hand as Warner Bros.’ work for Gravity titled “detached” won the Best of Show Prize and the top honor for Best Thriller.

While the Golden Trailer Awards bestows trophies in 75 different categories (full list below), only 17 were handed out live before a sold out crowd at the Saban Theater. To view a selection of the winning trailers, please visit http://wdrv.it/1nLq7qC .

Buddha Jones earned 7 awards while Trailer Park scored 6 of the coveted trophies.

Comedian, actor, author and radio personality Jay Mohr served as host and master of ceremonies of the fun and spirited show while celebrity presenters included Neal McDonough, Zach McGowan, Tito Ortiz, Karina Smirnoff and Los Angeles Laker Nick Young. Celebrity judges included Chris Buck, the co-director of the blockbuster animated smash Frozen, Adam Driver, who was recently announced as a member of the cast of the new Star Wars feature and is a series regular on HBO’s hit series “Girls,” Doug Ellin, creator of the HBO phenomenon “Entourage,” film and television actress Debi Mazar,  “Raising Hope” star Garret Dillahunt,  Divergent director Neil Burger, and Snow White and the Huntsman writer Evan Daugherty.

The Golden Trailer Awards were launched in 1999 by Evelyn Brady-Watters and Monica Brady as a way to recognize the best of the best in worldwide motion picture marketing. The event has become one of the most anticipated award shows of the year.

“The Golden Trailer Awards represent the absolute best in marketing innovation and creativity. The show is always a really fun night of celebration and we couldn’t be more proud of the nominees and winners,” said GTA Founder Evelyn Brady-Watters.
