Visit Sarasota County announces Ambassador Training Program

SARASOTA, Fla. (October 8, 2014) – Visit Sarasota County recently launched a new Ambassador training program for local businesses, hospitality and tourism representatives and volunteers. The Step Right Up training program is a free, online portal with videos and information about various aspects of Sarasota County.

“A program such as this has been a request from the community and our industry partners for several years,” says Stephanie Grosskreutz, managing director of Visit Sarasota County.  “These Ambassadors will be an extension of our visitor services team and will be on the ground sharing all there is to see, do and experience in Sarasota County.”

Each video is eight minutes in length and provides fun facts and information about Sarasota County. The program has three modules with more slated to come online in future months. The current modules focus on Sarasota County’s arts and culture, nature and sports. Each session ends with a quiz to test knowledge.
