Tampa Ave. on Saturday, Jan. 10, 2015 from 10:30 – noon.

Registration by phone is already open for winter 2014 theatre classes. The semester includes classes for children and adults beginning the week of Jan. 19, 2015. For adults 18 and older, the theatre offers exciting classes taught by professionals in their fieldsClasses include Candace’s Improvisation: The basic tenet of Yes! and Peter Ivanov’s Scene Study.  A special offering this semester is Peter’s Theatre Appreciation class: That Show Changed My Life!  It explores the art, history and science of theatre as a fine art.  The first class on Jan. 17 from 1 – 2 p.m. is open to the public at no cost.

Venice Theatre also offers private lessons for students who are interested in one-on-one instruction in acting and/or musical theatre; and a customized program for Girl Scout and Boy Scout badges.
