Ultra Records Releases H&M Soundtrack
The Monday, April 21st edition of Good Morning America featured the exclusive video premiere of Gisele & Bob Sinclar’s collaborative take on Blondie‘s “Heart Of Glass”. Initially created as the soundtrack to H&M’s Summer Campaign; Ultra Records, under exclusive licensing from Hennes & Mauritz AB, has released “Heart Of Glass” as an iTunes 2 week exclusive and the track will be available at all retailers on May 6th. H&M, Gisele and Bob Sinclar will donate royalty from “Heart of Glass” to UNICEF and their work for education.
Taking “Heart Of Glass” and re-imagining it in the current dance music universe was no easy task. However, french dance music icon, Bob Sinclar, was more than up for the challenge. Merging “Heart Of Glass“‘ disco influenced sound with groovy syncopated synths, funky bass lines, marching band-esque drum rolls and Gisele’ s sultry vocals, Mr. Sinclar, meticulously constructs an electronic dance music banger, while still paying respect to the original.
Whether it be in H&M stores or club dance floors, “Heart of Glass” is sure to keep bodies moving this summer!
