“At the moment, the world is having a hard reset and not able to experience the thrill of live music,” says Jared James Nichols. “We can’t wait to get back on the road and connect with people, but for now a Les Paul and headphones will have to do.”

From the beaches of Florida–to the deserts of Egypt, Jared James Nichols continues to garner attention and has officially signed his first record deal with Black Hill Records, a new label dedicated to rock, owned by independent publisher Round Hill Music. Based out of Los Angeles, Black Hill Records has also signed the Austin, TX duo Black Pistol Fire and the iconic British rock band The Cult; it will be distributed worldwide by The Orchard.

Jared James Nichols and his band–Dennis Holm (drums) and Baron Fox (bass/keyboards)–have released their new single, “Threw Me to the Wolves” available now via all streaming providers, Here. For the song, JJN and his bandmates teamed with Jay Ruston (Anthrax, Steel Panther, Stone Sour) to produce and Mark Jackson and Ian Scott (Grandson, Bishop Briggs, Dorothy) on co-writing duties.

Last year, Jared collaborated with Epiphone to release his first-ever signature guitar, the “Old Glory” Les Paul Custom which has quickly become a best-seller. The guitar is modeled after Jared’s favorite stage guitar and features a 50s style Les Paul Custom with an Ebony finish, historic binding , and an Ebony fingerboard , but with the striking look of a single Seymour DuncanTM P-90 and a Gibson-style ‘Custom’ plaque inscribed Blues Power . ‘Old Glory’ also comes with an EpiLite TM Case and a signed Certificate of Authenticity. “I’ve always been drawn to the sound of the Les Paul Junior and the feel of a Les Paul Custom,” adds Jared James Nichols. “Since there wasn’t a model like that available, I modified my own Les Paul Custom. After playing the first lick on this guitar, it was so gratifying and humbling, I was so inspired to play and share my music with the world.”
