New York, NY – The Coffee Music Project is proud to announce the 11 contestants who have been selected to participate in the competition’s live final round, which will take place tonight,  September 23rd at 7pm at The Studio at Webster Hall. The 11 final contestants chosen to move on to the final live round includes: Alec Chambers, Cal Kehoe, Chloe Gasparini, Hillary Capps, Jimmy Nash, Khaya, Kirsten Izer, Nic Hanson, Odane Whilby, Phil Cohen and Sierra Noble. The finals will be taking place at Webster Hall on September 23rd and tickets are available here.
The Coffee Music Project is a high profile music competition showcasing the creativity and talents of emerging musicians while engaging a deep spirit of community among those who share a passion for great music and coffee culture.  100% of the profits support Project Waterfall in partnership with charity: water, bringing clean water and sanitation to coffee growing communities. After the successful launch of The Coffee Music Project in London 2015, we will be bringing the initiative to New York City this September.

THE COMPETITION
The top 32 contestants have been selected to perform during the qualifying rounds, which will take place on September 20th and 21st in the heart of the East Village at Pianos NYC. From the qualifying rounds, 8 contestants will be selected to go through to the finals, which will take place at the prestigious Webster Hall on September 23rd.
The winner of the competition will receive a $1,500 prize, a professional recording session and a guaranteed headline slot to perform at The New York Coffee Festival. All eight finalists will also receive guaranteed slots to perform at The New York Coffee Festival, along with having one song featured on The Coffee Music Project NYC 2015 album.
THE CAUSE
The Coffee Music Project supports Project Waterfall, which is committed to bringing clean water and sanitation to the communities which grow our coffee. All profits from the live shows will directly support this valuable cause.
