Pinellas County high school sports to be broadcast live on The Identity Tampa Bay

TAMPA — The Identity Tampa Bay announced today a partnership with Pinellas County Schools (PCS) and the NFHS Network to bring the streaming of high school sporting events to Pinellas County. The Identity Tampa Bay will broadcast multiple games per week as part of this cutting-edge partnership. All games broadcast on The Identity Tampa Bay will be free to the viewer.

This partnership has allowed for the installation of 32 automated cameras at all 16 high schools in Pinellas County. Using Pixellot technology, everyone will have the ability to watch Pinellas County high school sports.

“We are very excited about our partnership with The Identity Tampa Bay and the NFHS Network which will allow the community to stream Pinellas high school sports on their personal devices from anywhere,” said Al Bennett, the district’s Athletics Director. “Moreover, it will allow us to promote our Pinellas County teams and athletes to a much wider audience.”

With the addition of PCS, The Identity Tampa Bay now has the ability to broadcast high school sporting events across two counties, providing unprecedented access to the families of both Hillsborough County and Pinellas County.

The Identity Tampa Bay fall broadcast schedule will be released at a later date. It will broadcast three to four games per week during the fall sports season, with the goal of increasing to eight games per week during the winter season.

For unlimited access to live and on demand content from the NFHS Network, fans can visit NFHSnetwork.com, search for their desired school, and subscribe. All sporting events at all levels throughout the year will be streamed online through the NFHS Network.
