DRAGONS ANNOUNCE 2016 SCHEDULE

DAYTON, OHIO— The Dayton Dragons today announced their game schedule for the 2016 season, the Dragons’ 17th year in the Midwest League.
The Dragons will open the 2016 home season on Saturday, April 9 when they host the Bowling Green Hot Rods at Fifth Third Field in the first of 70 Dragons home games. The Dragons first regular season game of 2016 will be played on the road two days earlier, on Thursday, April 7 in Bowling Green, Kentucky against the Hot Rods.
The Dragons will again play a 140-game Midwest League schedule. The final home game is scheduled for Friday, September 2 and the regular season will conclude on Monday, September 5.

The 2016 season will be the 115th year of Minor League Baseball and the 70th season for the Midwest League.
The Midwest League features two eight-team divisions and includes teams from Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, Michigan, Illinois, Iowa, and Wisconsin.
