The CAC Hosts Non-Profit Groups at Special Matinee of “Red, White & BELLO!”
Circus Sarasota hosted over 800 people from 16 non-profit groups and organizations including Pines of Sarasota, Easter Seals, and United Cerebral Palsy of Southwest Florida (Sarasota/Manatee) on February 18th as part of a special matinee performance of “Red, White & BELLO!” It is The Circus Arts Conservatory’s way of giving back to the community through circus. Everyone’s time is donated so that we may put on this extraordinary show that we make a point of producing every year. The groups that attend are from the organizations we work with throughout the year as partner agencies in our outreach programming. Over 80 wheelchairs are seated for this performance.
The audience was treated to an array of circus superstars from around the world and their fabulous, awe-inspiring acts. Sylvia Zerbini and her horses were well received, and Bello Nock continuously got a big cheer! Special consideration is made to those in attendance so they can all share in the magic of the circus – some for the first time. We enjoyed having these wonderful circus fans under the Big Top – their energy and excitement was incomparable!
