Second Annual Sierra 4×4 Trails and Ales Event, July 16

 

Truckee, Calif. (June 27, 2016) – Tahoe Donner teamed up with the Tahoe Donner 4 Wheelers Club to host the second annual Sierra 4×4 Trails and Ales event, a 4×4 fundraising affair that is scheduled to take place on Saturday, July 16 at Northwoods Clubhouse from 1 – 4 p.m. This event is a chance for individuals to come out and learn about 4x4s and off-road experiences while participating in several fun event attractions.

 

Sierra 4×4 Trails and Ales includes a shine-and-show contest, live music, kids’ games, a raffle, a beer tasting, BBQ, 4×4 vendors and a trail ride the following day. Attending this event is free while BBQ and beverages will be available for purchase. To participate in the signature shine-and-show contest, interested individuals owning any type of 4×4 vehicle may register to show their vehicle for $35. Entry includes a commemorative beer mug, two beer coupons, a Tahoe Donner SWAG bag, an event logo t-shirt and a guided trail run to Bear Valley Loop Trail on Sunday, July 17 at 9 a.m. In addition, all shine-and-show participants will have a chance to win prizes in the following vehicle categories: cleanest, dirtiest, most rugged tires, best rims, ultimate beater, most trail ready, best stock (two minor modifications max), best classic and people’s choice.

 

Proceeds from the event will be donated to the Tahoe Donner Giving Fund, who will grant proceeds to the Boys & Girls Club of North Lake Tahoe. Boys & Girls Club of North Lake Tahoe has been a cornerstone of the North Lake Tahoe/Truckee community since opening its doors in 1998. Serving some 1,500 youth annually, the club provides a safe, structured and positive environment for young people before and after school, during holidays and summer vacation. Their mission is to inspire and enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to realize their full potential as productive, responsible, and caring citizens.
