Fresh off a sold-out Halloween show at UCSB w/ Snoop Dogg, Atlanta’s WatchTheDuck (WtD) open up about The Trojan Horse EP and unveil a brand new roundtable video series. Set for a November 20th release via DIM MAK / Epic, The Trojan Horse features executive production from T.I., Pharrell, Tricky Stewart, and Steve Aoki, with additional guest spots from Schoolboy Q, Afrojack and Candice Pillay. In these videos, WtD are joined by T.I. and Steve Aoki for engaging roundtable discussions on disco naps, DIM MAK events, creating an original sound, and the true story behind the most original name in the game.
WatchTheDuck is the brainchild of duo Jesse Rankins (vocalist—A.K.A. “The Voice”) and Eddie Smith III (producer/DJ—A.K.A. “The Sound”). Known for their innovative fusion of thumping electronics, soulful melodies and trap-inspired beats, The Trojan Horse is a true testament to their unique sound. The EP’s first single “Making Luv To The Beat” featuring T.I. and DJ E-Feezy recently premiered on The Fader and Beats1, with additional support coming from Complex, XXL, and more.
