SET FOR THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 10

TICKETS FOR ALL THREE SHOWS
ON SALE TODAY

STS9 is returning to the legendary Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, CO this September for the band’s 13th consecutive year, and 17th time overall, headlining the famed venue. The critically acclaimed instrumental electronic rock quintet will take over Red Rocks on Friday, September 11 and Saturday, September 12, with a special fan club show set for Thursday, September 10 at the intimate Boulder Theater to kick off the weekend.

Tickets for all three shows go on sale today Wednesday, April 8 at 10am Mountain Time exclusively through www.sts9store.com. Tickets for the Boulder Theater show are only available as a three-night pass inclusive of both Red Rocks shows, for $125 for a 3-day GA Pass or $250 for a 3-day VIP Pass. VIP tickets include reserved Soundboard seating at Red Rocks and an exclusive viewing area at the Boulder Theater, plus early entry each night, a limited edition event poster, and a free digital download of all three shows. In addition, Single Day GA Red Rocks tickets will be available for $42.50 per night and Two-Day GA Red Rocks tickets for $74.50.

Describing last year’s two-night run at Red Rocks, Gabriel Derby from 303 Magazine said, “both nights were a unique and stellar performance of musical mastery that rocked the crowd off their feet. STS9 played an entire catalogues worth of music over six insane sets, including an acoustic Axe The Cables set each night…the lights for both nights were absolutely stunning…each and every one of their six sets was a special blend of rock, funk, electro, and psychedelia but to a greater degree than a typical show” (9-10-14). The Denver Post’s Nate Etter called their second night “a sold-out marathon performance” (9-8-14), while Greg Valley from City2Snow added that “night 2 was arguably the best Sound Tribe Sector 9 show in recent history,” noting that the whole weekend was “spiritually, mentally, and physically invigorating” (9-10-14). Taylor Harmeyer from Festival Footprints summed up the weekend by saying, “all in all, this run was the best music STS9 has played in arguably the last decade” (9-11-14). STS9–hailed as “a musical force to be reckoned with” by Wesley Hodges of JAMBANDS.COM (11/6/14)–started 2015 with a four-night takeover of the Fillmore Auditorium in Denver, CO which included a special New Year’s Day charity dinner event benefitting Conscious Alliance for 600 lucky fans. The memorable evening featured a completely improvised set weaving through new, unreleased tracks and reinvented takes on fan favorites that the band recently made available exclusively via BitTorrent Bundle. ONE / ONE: Live from The Fillmore Auditorium – Denver, CO is a digital collection spanning 365 days of STS9 featuring the remastered, multi-track recording of this historic performance as well as the massive collection of every 2014 STS9 show50 live recordings in total—plus photos and artwork from the shows all for $25. Following their Denver takeover, STS9 also recently completed multiple-night show runs in Aspen, Chicago, Athens and New Orleans, where they also performed at the BUKU Music + Art Project.

Touring with the latest cutting-edge sound and lighting and largest production rig of their career, the band–Hunter Brown (guitar/sequences), Jeffree Lerner (percussion), David Phipps (keyboards/synths), Zach Velmer (drums) and Alana Rocklin (bass)—will bring their visually stunning show to more North American festivals this spring and summer including Bonnaroo, Summer Camp, Wakarusa, Euphoria Festival, All Good Festival, Sonic Bloom (2 sets), Chalice California and Pemberton before wrapping with their Red Rocks shows. About STS9:
Since forming in Atlanta 15 years ago, STS9 has risen to the forefront of the international music scene. Consistently ranked among Pollstar’s list of top-grossing touring acts, the quintet has sold out Red Rocks Amphitheatre on many occasions (having performed 15 times already at the legendary venue), headlined stages at the country’s biggest music festivals, sold out shows across the country as an acoustic set-up in opera houses or as an electronic act in amphitheatres, and has raised significant amounts of money towards activism efforts (including $150,000 to the Make It Right Foundation, paving the way to rebuild a house in the Lower 9th Ward of New Orleans). STS9 also runs their own record label, 1320 Records , whose goal is to bring the music to the people in the most conscious, unique, innovative and savvy ways possible to lessen the distance between artists and fans. The band’s latest studio EP and eleventh album in their full discography, When The Dust Settles, debuted at #1 on the iTunes Electronic Chart and landed them in Billboard’s Top 25 album chart.
