After their massively successful self-titled debut album, which has sold more than three million copies worldwide, 5 Seconds of Summer are back with Sounds Good Feels Good – and going “bigger than ever,” according to Rolling Stone, which devoted its lead review to the new album.Fans worldwide sent Sounds Good Feels Good (Hi or Hey Records/Capitol Records) to No. 1 on iTunes in 50 countries just hours after the pre-order launched.

Today, 5 Seconds of Summer can be seen on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” and they’ll crash Hollywood, playing a free show for fans at Hollywood & Highland. The band will perform on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” on October 27. On Wednesday, October 28, NBC’s “TODAY” will welcome 5 Seconds of Summer for a concert in Rockefeller Plaza. The band will also perform at the “2015 American Music Awards,” airing

live from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on Sunday, November 22, at 8:00 p.m. ET on ABC.

Tickets went on sale today for the North American leg of the 2016 “Sounds Live Feels Live” tour, produced by Live Nation. The run will kick off on July 1 at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, CT and include shows at Hersheypark Stadium in Hershey, PA (July 2), New York City’s Madison Square Garden (July 15) and The Forum in Los Angeles (September 7). Tickets are available now at 5 Seconds of Summerplayed to more than one million fans across three continents, including three massive sold-out nights at the SSE Wembley Arena in London, on 2015’s “Rock Out With Your Socks Out Tour.”The band is included on the all-star lineup of artists featured on the 2015 iHeartRadio Jingle Ball tour.
“The biggest new rock act in the world doesn’t play indie or metal, and it doesn’t have anything to do with Jack White or the Black Keys (at least not yet)….these boys have more guts than some bands twice their age,” said Rolling Stone. In a four-star review, Alternative Press observed, “Sounds Good Feels Good delivers” while People hailed it as “an edgy upgrade” and Kerrang called it “killer,” awarding the album four Ks. The New York Times noted that “She’s Kinda Hot,” the first single, “offers a Bad Brains shout-out, something more truly punk than you’d expect” while Rolling Stone praised the follow-up track, “Hey Everybody!” as “an anthem for the overworked and underpaid.”
The official video for “Hey Everybody!” – directed by Isaac Rentz (Cage The Elephant, Blink 182) – racked up 1.2 million views in the first 24 hours after its release. Views for “She’s Kinda Hot,” also lensed by Rentz, now exceed 20 million. “She’s Kinda Hot,” which won Song of the Summer honors at the 2015 MTV Video Music Awards, topped the iTunes charts in 44 countries and was a Top 15 hit at Top 40 radio.Sounds Good Feels Goodwas executive produced by rock veteran John Feldmann (All Time Low, Good Charlotte, Boys Like Girls).
5 Seconds of Summer’s self-titled debut album entered the Billboard 200 at No. 1, selling 260,000 units in the U.S. in its first week of release, marking the biggest debut for a new act in 2014 and the biggest debut ever by an Australian artist. It topped the iTunes charts in a total of 76 countries. The band has won numerous awards, including an American Music Award, a People’s Choice Award, five MTV European Music Awards, an MTV Video Music Award and an iHeartRadio Music Award.
