SonReal U.S. Headlining Tour in June

HOLLYWOOD, CA – “Meet SonReal, Drake’s biggest competition at the JUNO Awards.” That’s how MTV News presented this budding artist. Today, SonReal is upping the ante by dropping the For The Town EP featuring his brand new single “For The Town” and his JUNO nominated (Canadian equivalent of the GRAMMY Award) track “Preach.”

Continuing the tradition of brilliant visuals, the title-track official video showcases SonReal‘s hook-laden chorus and show stopping effects mixed with the undeniable charisma that is SonReal. “I am constantly challenging myself with visuals and the team of people I work with them on,” says SonReal, “Shooting ‘For The Town’ we wanted to do something outside the box and I really have to credit the idea of it to the director, Peter Haung. I love Peter Haung and Mad Ruk Entertainment, it was them believing in this song and understanding me as an artist that brought this visual to life.”

In celebration of the For The Town EP, SonReal is heading back to the U.S. for a headlining tour starting June 13 in Buffalo and includes stops in New York City, Chicago, and Los Angeles. Get your tickets HERE and the full itinerary below.

SonReal is in fact a rapper, but perhaps hitmaker suits him better. He’s been dropping mixtapes since 2011 and amassing fans, the media included. “SonReal has his own flow, his own style, his own message. And he’s pretty damn good at it,” exclaimed Huffington Post. Additionally, The Source praised his 2014-release mixtape One Long Day, pointing out his “introspective style” and “well-honed sense of timing and wordplay.”
