Juno and the Paycock and The Mountaintop officially open at The Shaw

–      Two powerful and provocative works make Shaw Festival debut this weekend   –

 

Niagara-on-the-Lake, ON (July 25, 2014) — Shaw Festival supporters and company members will gather tonight and Saturday evening to celebrate the official openings of Sean O’Casey’s Juno and the Paycock and Katori Hall’s The Mountaintop. After Saturday evening’s performance, all 10 shows in the 2014 season will have officially opened and will run in repertory in The Shaw’s four Niagara-on-the-Lake theatres.

 

Friday, July 25

8 p.m. – Opening of Juno and the Paycock, directed by Jackie Maxwell

Royal George Theatre, 85 Queen Street, Niagara-on-the-Lake

 

Saturday, July 26

8 p.m. – Opening of The Mountaintop, directed by Philip Akin

Studio Theatre, 10 Queen’s Parade, Niagara-on-the-Lake
