Sarasota Singles Society
For those of you who did not attend the Wine Tasting – you missed out! We had unlimited “tastes” of a variety of six wines, with the Chardonnay (French White Burgundy) and the Malbec the all round favorites. Our catered hors d’oeuvres, which were paired with the wines we sampled, were absolutely delicious.
We had two new members and two new guests joining us for the first time whose company we very much enjoyed. Always having new people to meet is fun – you never know who might show up!
We now look forward to our Sunset Dinner Cruise onboard the Marina Jack II. Judging by the comments and number who have already signed up, this is going to be a very popular event!
A word to the wise – this is a limited capacity event! Also, there will be an ad in the Ticket calendar section of the Herald Tribune tomorrow inviting new friends to join us.
We have very limited capacity versus the number I believe will want to be on board for this great event. I advise you to sign up early to guarantee your space!
Put Sept. 5th on your calendar, also. We are invited for an extensive tour of the Sarasota Opera House and will then enjoy exclusive use of their elegant facilities for a cocktail reception. Their bartenders will be on hand to serve us and a catered presentation of fine heavy hors d’oeuvres will be offered.
This is definite but still lacking a few details in order to post.
October 2nd, we will be returning, by popular demand, to the Beachhouse – this time for a luau with live entertainment.
Through one of our very gracious members, we will be hosting an Oktoberfest at the prestigious Founder’s Club on October 18th.
These events will be posted as soon as final details are worked out, along with many other very exciting venues.
For further details and information, please click on Events.
As always, I will be happy to register for you – 941 504-4064 – or you may do so online.
I can’t wait to hear the loud – HONK!! – the Marina Jack II makes as it departs.
