Time to sign up for “A Night at the Sarasota Opera House,” if you have not already done so.  They would like a good idea of how many we will be to prepare for us – bartenders, caterer, etc.
Musical America has proclaimed the Sarasota Opera House “one of the finest venues for opera in the United States.”  What an honor it will be to privately tour this historically rich facility with its recent $20 million update and restoration.
An exclusive catered cocktail party will follow with their bartenders on hand and heavy hors d’oeuvres.
A great party is in the works, “Tuscany by Night,” at the Sara Bay Country Club on September 19th.  Reminiscent of a Tuscan villa, the Palm Room will provide the perfect atmosphere along with Tuscan inspired music upon arrival – ‘O sole mio…A delicious menu has been prepared for us by the club’s chef – Buon Appetito!  After experiencing La Dolce Vita – music, wine, relaxed dining and dancing, you will not want to say Arrivederci.

In 1928, the A. B. Edwards Theatre was unveiled.
The Sarasota Herald Tribune hailed Edwards for
“having admitted Sarasota into a fairyland of costly decoration,
rich furnishings and never to be forgotten artistry.
The theatre became a popular venue for
a variety of entertainment over the years.
Unfortunately, the latter years were not kind
to the original integrity of the structure.
In 2008, a $20 million project was completed
to update, as well as restore
historically appropriate decorations.
An extraordinary opportunity has been extended
to privately tour this exquisite facility
and then enjoy a cocktail reception with fine hors d’oeuvres
within this historically rich opera house.
 There’s something about
the Italian wine region of Tuscany
that has captured the hearts of people the world over.
Perhaps it is their absolute passion for La Dolce Vita.
When friends gather it is to celebrate life,
enjoying music, wine, relaxed dining and dancing.
The Palm Room is reminiscent of a Tuscan Villa
and you will be greeted by the romantic music of the region,
“O sole mio…
Our Tuscan inspired cuisine sounds delicious
Buon Appetito!
Music, wine, relaxed dining and dancing…
You will not  want to say Arrivederci to La Dolce Vita!

we will dine on a buffet of traditional luau fare,
featuring Grilled Mahi-Mahi and Pork Calypso.
A luau is not complete
without Hawaiian music and dancers…
You are invited to
attend this extraordinary offering.
A world-class performance
in the intimate setting of an elegant private home.
KEVIN ZHU, renowned 12 year-old violinist,
has performed as a soloist at prestigious venues
such as London’s Royal Festival Hall
and the world famous Philharmonia Orchestra.
A participant in the Perman Summer Music School
led by Itzak Perlman,
Kevin has won numerous first-prize awards
in competitions around the world.
A reception will be offered preceding the performance.
