Roser Community Church to Celebrate World Communion Sunday
On Sunday, October 4, congregations around the globe will celebrate World Communion Sunday. This tradition began in 1936 in the Presbyterian Church and has grown into an international celebration of Christian unity. Everyone in invited to join the celebration at Roser Community Church.
All the music for the 10:00 AM Worship Service will be either world music or music that celebrates the diversity as well as the unity of Christians around the world. The music is accompanied by a combo of acoustic piano and guitar, flute and light percussion. The Chancel Choir will also provide special music.

The sermon by Dr. Bob O’Keef is titled “Living Sacrifices” will be taken from Romans 12:1-8. Verses 4 and 5 state: “For just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function, so in Christ we, though many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others.” Communion will be served by intinction using different breads from around the world!
The community is invited to join us for worship at 10:00 AM on Sunday. Bring the whole family… children will be dismissed after the Children’s Message for their own special program.
