The Sarasota Film Festival closed with a bang this year with its highly anticipated “Cinema Tropicale” party at Michael’s on East. It was magical!
This 4-hour extravaganza with its high end fashion, both on and off the runway, was accompanied by modern music and Vegas-style entertainment.  This was a rare and special opportunity to mingle with the filmmakers, celebrities, and visiting artists from around the world while enjoying a culinary adventure.  Michael’s on East once again lived up to its stellar and award-winning reputation.
The Sarasota Film Festival with all its Hollywood glamour may be over this year, but its mission to develop year-long programs for the economic, educational and cultural development of our community will be felt and appreciated for many years.
