CULTURE COLLIDE FESTIVAL IN LOS ANGELES OCTOBER 8-10

Returning to San Francisco (Oct. 1-2) and Los Angeles (Oct. 10-8) this October is CULTURE COLLIDE, the quintessential music, arts and industry experience. The festival celebrates creative curiosity as an array of venues play host to dozens of established and on-the-rise bands from around the world for multiple days of musical discovery.

2015 marks the second year of CULTURE COLLIDE festival in San Francisco. The event will take place Thursday, October 1 and Friday, October 2 at the Swedish American Music Hall (2174 Market St. San Francisco, CA 94114) and DSF Clothing (520 Haight St. San Francisco, CA 94117). CULTURE COLLIDE festival San Francisco will feature two days of performances including headliners MILO GREENE and WIDOWSPEAK as well as international headlining acts MISTEUR VALAIRE (CA), KINDER (PE) and many more (see full schedule below). Meanwhile, returning to Los Angeles for its sixth year, CULTURE COLLIDE music festival in Los Angeles takes place at multiple venues including: Echoplex, Taix + The Champagne Room, The Church, The Echo and Lot 1 Café. In addition to the main acts for the music festival, on Friday, October 9, CULTURE COLLIDE’s annual Creative Summit in Los Angeles will feature music industry panels focused on trends in music, media and tech from around the world–at Taix Restaurant (1911 Sunset Blvd. L.A., CA 90026). The artist-and industry-led forum–hosted by The Guardian–will discuss and examine exciting trends in music, opportunities for international artists in the U.S., the future of music distribution and other breaking topics. Also on Friday (Oct 9), CULTURE COLLIDE will host an array of Chinese indie rock artists for the Modern Sky Festival the Regent Theatre (448 South Main St. L.A., CA 90013). On Saturday, October 10, Culture Collide festival Los Angeles will host a massive international record fair in cooperation with Independent Label Market featuring over 20 record labels. Also on Saturday (Oct 10), the Aussie BBQ hosted by Sounds Australia-featuring Australian bands and solo acts–will return to Taix Champagne Room.  Expect a full announcement of set times for all of CULTURE COLLIDE festival in Los Angeles later this week.
