(Bradenton, FL) — Realize Bradenton, a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting the Bradenton area through 75 events and creative electronic promotions that reach over 50,000 people a month, announces the launch of its completely new website, RealizeBradenton.com. After more than a year of planning, the new site has been developed with the user in mind, emphasizing design, photography, simple navigation, and easily accessible information. Since over 45 percent of the 10,000 monthly RealizeBradenton.com visitors are mobile users, the website was designed to be responsive in design. This type of web design allows Realize Bradenton to maintain a single website that is formatted to seamlessly work across multiple screen sizes, including a computer, tablet, and smartphone.
“As a place-branding organization, we believe that quality design and integrated marketing strategies maximize connections and build relationships with residents, visitors, and businesses to promote downtown,” says Johnette Isham, executive director of Realize Bradenton. “Our new website is the culmination of more than 12 months of research, data mining, planning, and execution.” Isham continues, “Because branding is creating a memorable experience for people, we strive for high-quality interaction at our events and through online offerings.”
Realize Bradenton’s new website provides an even greater amplification of the Bradenton story. Through stunning photographs and fresh content, the new website offers a creative vibe and connects people to resources, such as driving directions, parking locations, event calendar, and much more. Most of all, the site is intended to show the energy, friendliness, and attractiveness of all that downtown Bradenton has to offer.
RealizeBradenton.com was designed in-house using staff expertise in photography, writing, and coding, with the development support of Bryan Gordon Design. The website is built on the NationBuilder platform, which includes a Constituency Relationship Management (CRM) database and a Content Management System (CMS). Jeremy Piper, communication manager for Realize Bradenton, who was the director of the website’s overhaul explains, “Essentially, we’ve strategically connected our database, website, and communication platforms. These integrated tools allow us to easily edit our website, maintain relationships with board members, donors, volunteers, visitors, residents, and more — all from one system.” Piper adds, “The goal is to provide an engaging personal experience for visitors and residents alike. As users share their interests and contact information, we can provide them with relevant information regarding events, downtown happenings, and more based on their individual preferences.”
The NationBuilder platform allows Realize Bradenton to implement pop-up-style events, which are extremely popular with millennials in cities like Chicago and Seattle. “Essentially, we’re able to communicate with specific demographic groups about events and connect with them on their favorite social platform, whether it’s email, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, or text messages,” says Morgan Bettes, executive and creative associate at Realize Bradenton. “We can let dog lovers know that there’s an event like Paws In Motion happening on the Riverwalk, or tell foodies that we have a pop-up restaurant happening somewhere in downtown Bradenton. Our ability to bring people together in new ways is going to take our events to the next creative level,” she says.
