Realize Bradenton Announces New Board Member

Jeff Watson to serve a three-year term on Realize Bradenton’s board of directors.

BRADENTON, Fla. — Realize Bradenton, a nonprofit organization that brings people together, selected Jeff Watson to serve on their Board of Directors for a three-year term. The Board of Directors promote redevelopment and economic growth in downtown Bradenton by transforming public places and engaging people using arts, culture, heritage, and food to build a vibrant, healthy Bradenton.

“We are delighted that Jeff is joining the Board of Directors,” says Ann Breitinger, board Chair of Realize Bradenton. “His background in public relations and corporate communication will bolster our ability to reach and engage diverse audiences. His enthusiasm for our area is a fantastic match with the mission of Realize Bradenton.”

Watson is the Senior Director of Corporate Communications for Feld Entertainment, Inc., where he is responsible for strategy and execution of internal communications as well as external executive and corporate public relations.

Watson’s professional background is rooted in public relations and communications in the sports and entertainment industry. Prior to joining Feld, he held positions at MVT PR, a boutique sports and lifestyle firm in Chicago, and the Women’s Tennis Association. He is a graduate of the University of Southern California with a degree in Public Relations from the Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism.

Realize Bradenton’s current Board of Directors includes Mark Boehmig, Ann Breitinger (Chair), Ben Bakker, Kim Daglish, Bridgette Halliburton, Amber Grace, Sue Revell (Vice Chair), Melodie Rich (Treasurer), Kay Wight, and Jennifer Zavadil.
