Track Is From The Black Market, Which Topped Billboard’s Alternative,
Top Rock And Hard Rock Albums Charts
“People Live Here,” the new video from Rise Against, premiered today on VEVO and can be seen HERE.

Directed by Tyler W. Davis, the stark clip contrasts the lives of two families that live in the same city yet worlds apart, in terms of their experiences. “‘People Live Here’ was born from the sense of fatigue we have all felt waking up to face and engage in the tumultuous times we live in. It is an exasperated sigh, a desperate plea, and an honest appraisal of the human condition in our times,” says lead singer and guitarist Tim McIlrath.

The song is from Rise Against’s seventh studio album, The Black Market, which hit No. 1 on the Alternative, Top Rock and Hard Rock albums charts. It is the band’s third album to debut in the Top 5 of the Billboard 200. Alternative Press said, “Whatever meaning you take from them [the songs]…one thing remains solid-the sheer heart with which they were forged and the very visceral emotion they contain” and Kerrang praised the album as “a magnificent wake-up call.”
After touring extensively in 2015, Rise Against is excited to begin work on the follow-up to The Black Market.
