OHIO BASED STARTUP ANNOUNCES SOCIAL MEDIA PLATFORM PROVIDING USERS WITH SOCIAL ACTIVITIES AND CLIENTS WITH TARGETED ADVERTISING
Columbus, Ohio – The Lloyds of Columbus, founders of an Ohio Based Startup, announce the development of an innovative Social Media Platform that will be designed to deliver customized social and lifestyle activities while providing a specific advertising medium to advertisers based on their needs.

The company is leveraging 10 years of social media, branding, advertising, entertainment, event planning and lifestyle enhancement experience to create the most comprehensive social media platform aggregating social activities based on individual preferences. It will allow users to set up a profile, identify their social and lifestyle entertainment interest, then receive options that may be of interest to them based on their identified geographical locations. In addition, platform clients will have a true targeted advertising source, which answers questions regarding the monetization of social media.

“People are always looking for things to do in order to keep them entertained. Whether at home, traveling or recently relocated, figuring out what to do or where to go is one of the biggest challenges we all have,” said Sherry Lloyd, The Lloyds of Columbus President of Sales & Marketing. “Most people have a circle who provide them with lifestyle interests and event information. However there isn’t a good single source where the public can receive only their lifestyle interests delivered in a true customized manner. We have eliminated the sifting through social media clutter factor allowing users to receive what’s most important to them.”

The Lloyds of Columbus created the tech startup to help eliminate the need for people to search the internet for things to do as it pertains to their lifestyle. It will provide customized results while allowing connections with friends and other users. Advertisers will be able to promote products and services to verified audiences based on information received from users through the platform.

“We’ve been able to successfully leverage social media to increase engagement with social activities while driving revenue for our current client base,” Lloyd said. “The platform will be equally inviting to most businesses, event planners, civic and community organizers due to their ability to upload their information for free. Our Mission is to eliminate your need to search for places to go or things to do and provide the best advertising source on the planet while not taking the Big Brother approach.”

The Lloyds of Columbus’ social media platform is currently in its beta phase and is being tested within several companies and social groups.
