20-year-old Australian singer/songwriter/rapper Nick de la Hoyde is making waves at Top 40 radio with his unique brand of hip-hop/R&B. His debut single “The Longest Way” is racking up plays nationwide, including spins on KRVE (San Francisco), WBEA (Long Island), KFRH (Las Vegas), and KPRR (El Paso). The music video, which was released the same day, is starting to spark interest across the video programming spectrum.

Released on October 21, “The Longest Way” was written and recorded by de la Hoyde in collaboration with producer Lemoyne “LA” Alexander (R. Kelly, Aaliyah).

Nick de la Hoyde’s music melds the sounds and style of hip-hop, pop, soul, R&B, and spoken word, topped with introspective, personal lyrics. That personal touch is certainly resonating with listeners. A groundswell fanbase continues to grow via Nick’s social media outlets, including Instagram, which has amassed 60k followers in just 5 months.

With such anticipation growing around this new artist, it’s the perfect time for Nick de la Hoyde’s debut album release, which is due in 2015 via Gatcombe Music.
