MAYOR GARCETTI STATEMENT ON U.S./CHINA CLIMATE ACCORD

“I applaud the leadership shown by President Obama in reaching this groundbreaking accord on climate change with China. These targets are a game changer and I will work with our local green tech, scientific and investment communities to see how we can play a leading role to achieve them and, in doing so, catalyze L.A. jobs and industry. While climate change is a global issue, global cities like L.A. can lead the way on solutions, and that’s what our city will do under my Administration.”
