MANTONI REJOINS DRAGONS;
MOODY TRANSFERRED TO BILLINGS
DAYTON, OHIO—The Dayton Dragons announced the following roster changes today:
Right-handed pitcher Joe Mantoni has been transferred to Dayton from Daytona (Advanced-A; Florida State League).
Left-handed pitcher Jacob Moody has been transferred from Dayton to Billings (Rookie-level, Pioneer League).
The Dragons roster remains at the Midwest League limit of 25 players.
Mantoni was previously with the Dragons from May 18 to June 13 before being promoted to Daytona. With the Dragons, he has appeared in six games (all out of the bullpen), going 0-1 with a 5.40 earned run average and one save. Mantoni made 13 relief appearances at Daytona, going 1-2 with a 6.06 ERA.
Moody pitched in nine games with the Dragons, going 1-0 with a 9.75 ERA.
