WHAT: Kenny Loggins to headline ZOOFARI 2015 Golden Anniversary on June 19 at the Saint Louis Zoo.
Kenny Loggins’ remarkable career has brought him to the top of the charts and to the toast of the Grammys. He has had hits on Hollywood’s favorite soundtracks, rocked worldwide stages, while bringing his soulful voice to platinum albums of a variety of genres. Loggins recorded so many successful songs for films that he was referred to as “King of the Movie Soundtrack” — beginning with “I’m Alright” from Caddyshack, and continuing with “Footloose” and “Danger Zone.”
ZOOFARI is the Zoo’s biennial creative black-tie fundraiser, at which party-goers can graze from more than 60 restaurants, caterers and bars, enjoy specialty drinks, bid on spectacular items at the silent auction and dance under the stars.
This year ZOOFARI is celebrating its golden anniversary! The event started 50 years ago in 1965 and has become the “best party in town.”
Chairing the event are Susan Block and James Sansone. Honorary chairs are the past event chairs during the 50 years of ZOOFARI events.
