(New York, NY) Kai Exos (pronounced ex-ös) is set to independently release Telegraph, the title track from his debut LP Telegraph. Blending influences from Motown-era soul, early southern jazz and late 1970s lo-fi rock, Kai is gaining positive adulation alongside a fastly growing social media following for Vigilante, the first track off Telegraph: Sporting silky smooth pipes, [he] definitely possesses the instrument to be a star, notes Brent Faulkner in a recent review.
Kai collaborated on Telegraph with an award-winning team of Canadian producers and musicians, who are best known for working on Ziggy Marleys Dragonfly. Telegraph is set for a June 10th release. The title tracks artwork was borne of a collaboration by renowned illustrator and friend, Eduardo Bertone in Madrid.
