U.K. artist Jonas Blue – whose global hit “Fast Car” featuring Dakota has picked up more than 350 million global streams – returns with the summer anthem “Perfect Strangers.” The track features the smooth, soulful vocals of up-and-coming British singer JP Cooper, who was hailed as “Future Sound of 2015” by Zane Lowe. Blue and Cooper co-wrote the song, which racked up more than 750,000 streams on Spotify in the first four days of its release. “Perfect Strangers”has already charted in 25 countries on iTunes. The track caught the attention of Ellie Goulding, who can be seen dancing to it in this Instagram post.
Next week, Blue will return to North America for his second tour of 2016. The headline run kicks off on June 15 at Soundcheck in Washington, DC and include a June 17 show at Up and Down in New York City. Tickets are on sale now. See below for itinerary.

The 26-year-old Londoner has been touring the globe since the release of hisdramatic, trop-house take on Tracy Chapman’s classic song “Fast Car,” which has old more than three million adjusted singles globally, receiving Platinum and Gold status in numerous countries. In just a year, Blue has gone from partying in the crowd in Ibiza to performing on the main stage of Ushuaïa this summer.
Billboard hailed “Fast Car” as “a burgeoning across-the-board dance hit” when it came in at No. 1 on the Dance Club Songs chart while simultaneously appearing within the Top 10 of three other dance/electronic songs charts. Clash Magazine praised Blue as a “production prodigy, an electronic artist who simply seems to connect with a massive audience.”
