JFCS is hoping to be able to provide free tax preparation services beginning in March, 2021. In order to do this, we will need the following volunteer positions filled:
- Site Coordinator – With the support of the program manager, the site coordinator provides coordination, organization, and supervision to ensure high-quality tax preparation services. The site coordinator will receive IRS-sponsored training and support from the program manager and IRS relationship manager. The site supervisor will oversee at least two other volunteers. One (1) position available.
- Tax Preparer – Minimum of two (2) Tax preparer volunteers to take documents and scan to the secure server & meet with clients for final review and signatures for approval to file.
- Screener – The intake specialist provides support to the site by welcoming taxpayers and setting expectations for the return process. Up to two (2) positions available.
