LOS ANGELES – April 5, 2016 – Continuing its spring tradition for live broadcasts of music festivals, AXS TV delivers an all-access pass to four of the country’s largest festivals, as the biggest names in music take the stage at legendary venues across the U.S. The impressive lineup includes Zac Brown Band’s Southern Ground Music & Food Festival (April 16-17); New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival (April 23-24, April 29-May 1); Monster Energy Carolina Rebellion (May 6-8) and Hangout Festival (May 20-22). The Network will present a combined 13 days of music coverage during this special event, airing at least four hours of footage each day, and headlined by a roster of all-stars featuring Zac Brown Band, Nick Jonas, Flo Rida, ZZ Top, The Weeknd, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Alice Cooper, and more.

ZAC BROWN BAND’S SOUTHERN GROUND MUSIC & FOOD FESTIVAL – April 16-17 – 6pE-12aE – Charleston, South Carolina

Get ready for the ultimate genre-bending music experience, as Zac Brown Band hosts the fifth annual Southern Ground Music & Food Festival in “one of the South’s most beloved foodie cities” (Forbes). Returning to Charleston’s MUSC Health Stadium on Saturday, April 16 and Sunday, April 17, Zac Brown Band’s two-day event will “highlight Charleston’s remarkable food scene with an equally remarkable lineup” (Rolling Stone). Joining the Zac Brown Band on AXS TV’s broadcasts are The Marshall Tucker Band, Drake White, Muddy Magnolias and Packway Handle Band, among others.

NEW ORLEANS JAZZ & HERITAGE FESTIVAL – April 23-April 24 & April 29-May 1 – 5pE-9pE – New Orleans, Louisiana

For the fourth consecutive year, AXS TV will be the official broadcast home of the 47TH Annual New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival Presented by Shell, airing 20 hours of footage covering both weekends, from April 23-24 and April 29-May 1. This marks the first time ever that the Network will broadcast both weekends of this event, giving viewers the ultimate front row seat to one of the world’s most beloved music festivals, as an unprecedented list of all-star talent delivers unforgettable performances directly from Jazz Fest’s biggest stages. Charlotte’s premier rock and metal revival blazes through the Motor Speedway, as Carolina Rebellion comes to AXS TV for the first time ever. Since 2011, the festival has highlighted the very best in the hard rock and alternative genres. The legacy rages on in 2016, with televised acts such as southern rock legends ZZ Top and Lynyrd Skynyrd; heavy metal masters ScorpionsDisturbedMegadeth, Lamb of God, and Sixx:A.M.; alternative heroes 3 Doors Down, Collective Soul, and Deftones; and shock rock icon Alice Cooper.

Surf, sand, and songs collide as AXS TV presents the Hangout Festival for the first time ever, offering up one of the most unique and eclectic venues on the festival circuit, as some of the biggest names in rock, indie, hip-hop and EDM hit the sand at the beautiful beaches of Alabama’s Gulf Shores. This year’s lineup includes Alabama Shakes, Panic at the Disco and Walk The Moon, among others.
