Google Play Music Partners with Milk for Emerging Artist Program
Google Play Music has teamed up with Milk for an exciting new program to capture a day in the life of top emerging artists through photos, videos, and live performances from the exclusive, underground Milk JamRoom music venue, where Icona Pop and Gary Clark Jr. played their first shows and folks like Patti Smith, A$AP Rocky, Theophilus London and Dev Hynes drop by on the regular.
As part of the program, live EPs will be made exclusively on Google Play and the first EP launches today with XL Recordings’ electro-pop artist Empress Of who has been hailed by critics as “as an avant-R&B auteur with pop star potential—like a Björk unleashing her inner Beyoncé” (Pitchfork).
