Your Week at FIAF…

Fashion at FIAF concludes on Monday, March 31 with an exclusive talk featuring two-time CFDA Award winner Thom Browne in conversation with Washington Post contributor Robin Givhan.

On Tuesday, April 1, FIAF pays tribute to the great Patrice Chéreau with an HD screening of his final opera, Richard Strauss’s explosive revenge tragedy Elektra, which was presented at the Festival d’Art Lyrique d’Aix-en-Provence in July 2013.

Elektra is presented as part of FIAF First Tuesday. The evening will also include a reading with author M.J. Rose in the library, free French mini-classes, and, of course, wine and conversation en français at Rendez-Vous. Bring your friends!

The 10th edition of the Focus on French Cinema Festival in Greenwich opens on April 4. FIAF will host the closing night of the festival, featuring the U.S. premiere of Guillaume Gallienne’s acclaimed film, Me, Myself and Mum (Les garçons et Guillaume, à table!) on Tuesday, April 8.

FIAF Members enjoy free access to First Tuesdays, weekly French films, and more. Join FIAF by April 1 and you could also win a VIP dinner for four at Bagatelle.

Spring French classes begin April 7—don’t forget to enroll by March 31 and secure a spot in your preferred class!
