WHO/WHY:
The book signing and discussion, presented by the Beverly Hills Bar Association, provide an opportunity for the public to gain insights into California’s justice system from Former Chief Justice Ronald M, who served on the California Supreme Court for nearly 20 years, including the last 14 as Chief Justice until he retired in 2011. His memoir is based on an extensive series of oral histories and includes his recollections and observations, predictions and warnings about the state’s judicial system. It is published by Berkeley Public Policy Press.
The Beverly Hills Bar Association, founded in 1931, is the fifth largest bar association in California with more than 6,000 members. Its mission is to serve its members, to lead the legal profession and to advocate for justice in the community.
