Following Coldplay’s moving tribute to Viola Beach during their headline Glastonbury slot on Sunday night, streams of Boys That Sing have increased 6148% in the UK today.

 

The three headliners and ‘legends slot’ performers Electric Light Orchestra have also seen increases in streams of their music on Spotify:

  • Muse +53%
  • Adele +158%
  • Coldplay +41%
  • Electric Light Orchestra +198%

Meanwhile, a standout performance from Christine and the Queens triggered a 66% increase in streams and Coldplay’s surprise cover of Bee Gees – Stayin’ Alive has prompted a 113% increase in streams of the song.

 

The increases were calculated by comparing streams from today with the same time period last Monday (20 June). All data is based on UK streams only.
