‘Barbie™ Star Light Adventure’ Soars Into Movie Theaters Nationwide on July 30 for a One-Day Event

DENVER – June 27, 2016 – Barbie™ stars in one of her most empowered roles yet, space heroine! Fathom Events and Mattel bring “Barbie™ Star Light Adventure” to select U.S. movie theaters for a one-day event on Saturday, July 30, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. local time. Not only will audiences get to experience the premiere of Barbie™ heading into space on the big screen, but fans old and new can also watch an exclusive introduction from Barbie™, deleted scenes, a special interview with a NASA astronaut, the “Firefly” music video featuring Lindsey Stirling and the “Shooting Star” music videos with lyrics so fans can sing along!
Tickets for “Barbie™ Star Light Adventure” can be purchased online by visiting www.FathomEvents.com or at participating theater box offices. Fans throughout the U.S. will be able to enjoy the event in nearly 400 movie theaters through Fathom’s Digital Broadcast Network. Barbie™ is a cosmic princess who flies high on her hoverboard through a far-off universe with her adorable and devoted pet sidekick, Pupcorn. One day, everything changes when the twinkling stars start to dim and slow their dance in the sky. Barbie™ travels to a beautiful new planet to join a special rescue team on a mission to save the stars. Once there, she teams up with a group of talented new friends who work together to save the galaxy through exciting hoverboarding adventures. Barbie™ soon discovers that if she listens to her heart, and with the help of her friends, she might be the leader the whole universe has been waiting for!
