FlixFling Announces Deal With Warner Bros.
August 6, 2014 – FlixFling, an innovative movie and TV streaming service, announces a Transactional Video On Demand and UltraViolet content deal with Warner Bros.
In the coming weeks FlixFling will add thousands of Warner Bros. movie and TV titles, including favorites such as The LEGO® Movie, Man of Steel, Pacific Rim and the Harry Potter series.
“This agreement has been a long time in the making, and the logical next step as our business continues to grow,” says FlixFling CEO, Thomas Ashley. “With our growing retail relationships and our upcoming UltraViolet launch, the timing could not be better.”
FlixFling Chairman, Brad Heffler stated, “We are very excited to add Warner Bros. as our latest studio partner. Warner Bros. content is the perfect complement to our already deep catalog of studio and independent titles.”
In addition, Flixfling will be deploying new applications across a number of devices including Xbox, Samsung, Vizio, LG, and Sony & TiVo via the Opera TV Store along with updated apps for IOS, Android, Chromecast and Roku.
FlixFling is one of the widest available VOD services, currently available on a large selection of Internet-enabled mobile devices, all laptops, and desktop computers, as well as in the iTunes App Store, Samsung Apps, Google Play, Roku, Vidora, Opera, Vizio, Windows 8, and on Yahoo Connected TVs. The company is launching support for UltraViolet and an Xbox 360 application this summer.
FlixFling offers customers three ways to enjoy their favorite independent and hard-to-find films: A monthly subscription model, pay-as-you go rental, and the option to purchase their films and store them in the service’s digital locker, MyFlix.
