WILLIAMS PARKER ATTORNEY HONORED WITH ACTIVE COMMUNITY IMPACT AWARD

SARASOTA, Fla. – Erin Hope Christy, an attorney with the law firm of Williams Parker, was recently honored with the Active Community Impact Award by the Junior League of Sarasota—an organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women, and improving the community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. The award, presented at the organization’s Annual Dinner held May 17 at The Francis in Sarasota, Fla., recognizes an active member of the Junior League who exemplifies the highest standard of non-League work in the community.

“Erin has gone above and beyond time and time again to give to our community,” said Sarah Lodge, Junior League Outgoing President. “She is out and about at every event you can think of supporting not only the Junior League but many other wonderful organizations, such as New College of Florida, Girls Inc., Asolo Repertory Theatre, Marie Selby Botanical Gardens, American Cancer Society, and Forty Carrots, to name a few!”

“Erin’s passion for community service is commendable,” said Ric Gregoria, President of Williams Parker. “We are delighted to see her recognized for her many contributions toward supporting worthy organizations throughout our community.”

Ms. Christy focuses on real estate matters, including representation of buyers and sellers in residential real estate transactions. Prior to joining Williams Parker, she served as Director for Planned Giving at The John and Mable Ringling Museum of Art where she helped families accomplish their philanthropic gift planning through gifts of art, real estate, and outright gifts. Ms. Christy is actively involved with a number of civic and charitable organizations. She currently serves as Chair of the Junior League’s New Member Outreach and Community Grants Committees and served as the organization’s Vice President of Finance in 2015-2016.
