Grammy winning songwriter and R&B artist Eric Bellinger releases 3 brand new songs for his “In The Meantime Part 2” song package. With fans anticipating his forthcoming EP Cuffing Season Part 2, Bellinger shares a special song package that was produced by Bellinger and YFS Music Productions (SoufWest, AC and BeazyTymes) which includes: love ballad “Chinese Food & Netflix” featuring Aroc, the erotic bump and grind “Privacy” featuring Problem and hard hitting “Squad” which flips The Outhere Brothers’ classic hit “Boom Boom Boom.”
“Due to circumstances beyond my control CSP2 has been pushed back,” explains Bellinger. “I did everything in my power to have it out today but it just didn’t happen lol. I still wanted to release some new music for my supporters… so here is ITMP2! With CSP2 only a few weeks away hopefully these 3 joints will hold you guys over! Thanks for being patient with me! I guarantee it will be worth the wait!!!”
Bellinger continues, “Everyone is talking about Netflix & Chill nowadays so you know I had to make a song about it… lol ‘Chinese Food & Netflix’ is the perfect song for those intimate nights with Bae. With the Cuffing Season series being my main focus, I know I’ve been slackin on my pimpin with keepin the dancers laced, so I felt it necessary to release “Privacy” for the strip clubs. Lastly, I like “Squad” a lot because it’s very different for me. I wanted to show a different side of my turn up. And what better way to do it than with my Squad!”
Bellinger recently kicked off his national U.S. headlining tour and is also sharing with fans exclusive performance footage from his sold-out shows in Seattle, Portland, Oakland and Sacramento. Full tour dates listed below.
Bellinger’s Cuffing Season Part 2 EP will be released December 4th via independent YFS/300 Entertainment. His lead single “Valet” featuring Fetty Wap & 2Chaniz has over 5 million combined plays and is climbing up the charts with radio stations nationwide. HotNewHipHop editors and users agreed that the summer smash deserved top rating as “VERY HOTTTTT” while it landed at #36 of the Billboard R&B Hip-Hop Digital Songs.
Born and raised in Compton, CA, Eric Bellinger is well known in the music industry as a critically acclaimed songwriter and now as a solo R&B artist with sinfully smooth vocals and an affinity for soulful songwriting.
“Over the course of the past two years, Bellinger has become a go-to-writer for R&B’s elite,” Life+Times proclaims.
Since 2013, he’s racked up more than 80 song placements while co-penning hits for such pop and R&B stars as Usher (“Lemme See”), Justin Bieber (“Right Here”) and Chris Brown (“Fine China”). He also won his first Grammy Award as one of the collaborators on Brown’s best R&B-crowned album, F.A.M.E. Bellinger’s extensive discography also spans to R&B royalty like Jennifer Hudson, Trey Songz, Janelle Monae, Boyz II Men to pop superstars Selena Gomez and Jojo to hip hop chart toppers Nicki Minaj, Kid Ink, The Game and Nelly.
“…This Grammy-Award winning songwriter has been able to establish a reputation for himself that has him working alongside the likes of Chris Brown, Ne-Yo, Tank and Justin Bieber to name a few.”- Billboard
Earlier this summer, Bellinger’s Cuffing Season Part 1 debuted Top 5 on Billboard’s Heatseekers Chart. Vibe Magazine praised Bellinger for “bringing back sexy 90’s R&B” while Global Grind says it’s “time for the Compton crooner to shine.” With Bellinger topping Soul Train’s 10 Amazing R&B Singers, Cuffing Season’s lead single “Focused On You” has received over 5 million streams on both YouTube and Spotify. Notably, “iPod on Shuffle” has nearly a million combined plays and “Creep” featuring T-Boz was praised by media outlets MTV and Yahoo for his twist on the classic TLC hit.
