Endless City presents the inaugural FORMS, a three-day experiential event exploring the intersection of modern creativity, urbanism and technology. A multi-city collaboration between N-Festival (Amsterdam) and Northside (Brooklyn), FORMS celebrates artists and thinkers who take risks and challenge convention through experimentation.

Through live performance, interactive installations and discussion, FORMS examines the convergence of technology and creativity and the influence this has on everything from digital life, human connection, urbanism, artistic expression and beyond. FORMS aims to connect with people who are interested in contemplating what is possible.

FORMS features stunning performances from the Paris-based A/V masterminds NONOTAK and the shapeshifting electronic sounds from Berlin-based Laurel Halo. Other performers include progressive composer Kara-Lis Coverdale, outsider Montreal A/V collective susy.technology, upcoming Toronto producer BAMBII, and the noisy ambience from Jeremy Gara’s (Arcade Fire, 8G Band on NBC’s Late Night with Seth Meyers) debut solo album.

Immersive interactive installations such as Nick Verstand’s ANIMA investigates communication between humans and artificial intelligence, while the Mutual Wave Machine, the first project from the Marina Abramovic Institute Science Chamber, responds to and reflects shared brain activity between participants.

Early bird tickets for FORMS are on sale now at https://formstoronto.eventbrite.ca

More programming announcements will be revealed in the coming weeks including conversations between technologists, planners, designers and artists from Amsterdam, Brooklyn and Toronto exploring thought-provoking ideas currently shaping the urban experience.
