Last month, the “Cowboys and Angels” singer unveiled details of his upcoming sophomore album to Rolling Stone Country. The highly personal new album – released by Broken Bow Records – chronicles Lynch’s life over the past two years as he rose from an unknown songwriter to the only new male Country artist to earn a #1 debut album in 2012.

“It’s where I am, as a person and an artist,” Lynch told Rolling Stone Country.  “All the songs on the record are moments I’ve captured and put down. They were inspired by my excitement for life. So [the album title] Where It’s At sounds pretty perfect.”

The 15-track album – named for Lynch’s current smash single “Where It’s At” — boasts a sonic menagerie ranging from Country guitar licks to Motown guitar lines to Pop-leaning grooves while still paying tribute to Country music’s past.

Lynch worked alongside celebrated producer Mickey Jack Cones (Joe Nichols/ Working Man’s Poet:  A Tribute to Merle Haggard) on the sophomore project.  Producers Brett Beavers (Dierks Bentley) and Luke Wooten (Brad Paisley) also return for their second album project with the rising star.  Lynch co-wrote 5 of the songs appearing on WHERE IT’S AT.

In the meantime, Lynch continues to criss-cross the United States, hailed for his energetic, diverse live shows and stage presence by the likes of the Los Angeles Times, The Washington Post, Chicago Sun Times, Orange County Register, Metro Western New York and more.

Broken Bow Records artist Dustin Lynch occupies a unique place in today’s country music. Thanks to his classic sensibilities, he’s been heralded as the heir to George Strait’s throne. Yet with one listen to his newest hit, “Where It’s At,” it’s obvious the young Tennessee native knows how to combine his traditional influences with an edgy intensity that places him at the vanguard of today’s contemporary country scene.

Since the release of his hit, “Cowboys and Angels,” Lynch has sold over one million copies of his debut single and has surpassed 15 million views on YouTube/ VEVO.  Lynch’s Facebook fan page has grown by nearly ONE MILLION in the last year and his Twitter by 184%.  He’s soared to #1 on the MTV Music Meter, earned a #1 ringtone on CMT, a Top 5 on the Billboard Heatseekers Songs Chart, a #2 Country radio single, two American Country Award nominations and a CMT Music Award nomination.  “Cowboys and Angels” was one of Billboard’s Top 5 Country Songs of 2012. The editors of Rolling Stone lauded Lynchas one of “Nashville’s New Hit Makers” in 2013 Best of Rock Issue. ELLE magazine named him a “Best New Country Music Artist of 2013”while People Country proclaimed Lynch one of its “2014 Sexiest Men of Country” in a two-page center spread as well as a“2013 Hot Guys” in its annual issue. Rolling Stone recently named Lynch one of “The Best Things We Saw at CMA Music Fest 2014.” The only new male artist to earn a #1 debut album on the 2012 Country charts, Lynch further cemented his next-big-thing status with the double-entendre laden barnstormer “She Cranks My Tractor” and light-hearted “Wild In Your Smile.”

Lynch’s new single “Where It’s At” rests safely inside the Top 10 this week at Country Radio and continues to rise. The lead single from Lynch’s upcoming sophomore album on Broken Bow Records – slated for a September 9th release – is available now at iTunes: http://smarturl.it/whereitsat
